Pictures of the Week (or Two)

Since I have been so far be hind (once again) here are plenty of pictures to keep you entertained...enjoy!

Andy's forehead met a teammates knee in flag football.  The result was a small gash and six stitches and a trip to the emergency room.  The thumbs up is because they won, so naturally it was all worth it.  (For the record the Dr. told Andy he should wait 3-6 months before playing 'contact' sports again - but he played the following week!) haha

Clare has been a little restless at night these days (she is getting all 4 k-9s at the same time and she's been sick).  Some nights the only way I can get her back to sleep is to feed her yogurt (or gold fish).  I hope she works through his phase quickly!

While at Target one day Noah says, "Mommy, what is that?" to which I reply, "I don't know, what is it?" and he says, "That's a happy light!"  So observant!

I love this quote, because I find it to be so true.  The Lord is in EVERY detail of our lives.

Trying on coats at Costco.  We didn't buy it, but Clare looks cute in everything.

Always in the mood for a salty snack (and you should try Trader Joe's Kettle Corn too - Awesome!)

This one is all Noah's doing, obviously.  I am just glad he didn't have a booger hanging out of his nose at the time.

HBS is littered with art.  Some of it I adore and some of it is...well...interesting.  Noah saw this one and said, "Mommy, who are the people in that picture?  I think they're cool!"

Always up to something!

Clare fell off our bed and got a bloody nose, and it got all over the place.

Noah and Clare opening a Halloween package from my parents.  Excitement at every turn!

Noah is down to 1-2 naps per week.  There are some days that he just can't keep his eyes open!

Playing at the park.

I really do take care of my kids (in case you were wondering).  This day Clare refused to nap, so by dinner time she was exhausted!  So funny!

Enjoying the Head of the Charles Regatta (rowing competition).

Up before 6:30am and this is the first thing he does.

Clare loves to look at her reflection and giggle.  It's the cutest thing.

Took a trip to a local farm (Wilson Farm) and throughly enjoyed ourselves (best chocolate milk ever)!

Babyshower for my friend Allison (who is having twins). It was a great success!

Harvard Museum of Natural History

One of the field trips we recently took with Crimson Kids was to the Harvard museum of Natural History.  It really is amazing that we have so many things to see in such a close vicinity!  The great thing about this trip is it was fun and short!  It is literally so close and we were able to spend over an hour there (which is pretty much all my kids attention span can handle) and head home in time for naps.

The museum is huge, and could take us days to go though if we were thorough!  But we just looked around and enjoyed what we saw.  Noah especially liked the dinosaurs and Clare didn't really care either way!  Definitely a fun place to go see with visitors! Beware, a lot of pictures (and some of bugs) to follow!

I hate slimy things in a jar, these always gross me out!

One room was dedicated to colors, some of these are incredible!

I have to laugh at this picture, because Noah's expression is priceless!

 Cockroach anyone?  Yuck!

This fossil behind Noah and Brandon is legit.  Only small parts of the spine (I believe) were replicated due to decay.  It was found in Australia.  Can you even imagine??

 Giant sea turtle shell, amazing!

This one was a giant ground sloth, about the size of an elephant is what it said.  I think it's probably the freakiest fossil I've ever seen!

Sitting out waiting for the shuttle, Noah made friends with this gentleman.  They were honestly having a conversation.  At one point the guy got up to leave because a bus pulled up, when he realized it was the wrong bus he went back and sat by Noah and said, "That wasn't my bus."  Then they continued their conversation.  It was funny.
