The weekend started with an Adult fireside with Elder Neil L. Andersen. He and his wife answered questions from the group and I was so happy we could be there. It was a great way to start off the weekend. He reminded us to keep things in perspective, to remember that even though being at Harvard Business School ( he is an alumni himself) is exciting and important, it's not what's most important. He reminded us to serve others, and to serve the Lord. He bore his testimony of the Savior, Jesus Christ and it was so powerful. It really was such a wonderful experience!
After our fireside we made the approximately 2 hour drive to the Cape. The weather was chilly, but the skies were blue! It really was beautiful!
As you can see, it was gorgeous! All the houses had the infamous Cape Cod look and the beaches were picturesque! We played games outside ALL day and my kids were exhausted that night. Both had multiple breakdowns before the day was over, but it was totally worth it! You can even see Noah laying on the ground in some of these haha.
Here is a picture of Clare and her friend Isabelle. Clare climbed up and down these stairs many many times. She was obsessed with them, and I am always down for free entertainment!
The Sunset on our second night there was incredible. Here I am with a couple of friends. First picture is Allison and I and second picture is Melinda and I. Two of my favorite ladies!
