I have to go way back, because it's obvious that I am far behind on the blog. Things have been so busy (like usual) and sitting down to blog isn't always what I want to do at the end of the day. I regret it most, though, at times like these when I am blogging months behind. Hopefully I can get my rear into gear.
We will start with some pics from early November…
Little Clare and her BFF, Abby, walking to the Harvard Football game.
Noah and his buddy, Jackson, watching football with the guys. (Lots of football during the fall over here)
Daddy putting 'makeup' on Clare at her request.
There is something about those mini Trader Joe's shopping carts. She LOVES them.
When you endure a big grocery shopping trip with Mom, you certainly deserve a chocolate frosted donut.
Don't even ask me how this happened, but she stayed there until I helped her down.
Early November we took a little weekend trip to visit some friends at West Point. Andy had an interview in NYC so the kids and I drove down, took the train to Grand Central and met him in the city for dinner. After dinner we got back on the train and went to our friends house at West Point.
Here are the kids riding the train into the city...
And Clare on the way back…out!
A little tour around Andy's old stomping grounds. It had been since his graduation in 2007 that either of us had been back. I think it was a much different experience for him going back and seeing it than when he was there as a cadet. Much more enjoyable!
Noah caught this picture of Andy, Clare and I. Pretty great shot!
We wandered around for a bit and then headed up to the football game. It was cold, but really great to revisit! This is the stadium where Andy's graduation ceremony was also held. I still remember the section we were sitting in. A lot of memories, especially for Andy.
