Pictures of The Week

Warning:  Picture overload!  Enter at your own risk.

Summer playtime at a little playground by Daddy's work.

This is Clare's idea of fun while I run on the treadmill.  Sitting in the highchair (which we never use) and watching the iPad.

Just giving me some company in the bathroom.  She loves to come chat with me while I get ready.

She carries this purse around everywhere.

One night we played T-rex.  I was the scary dinosaur and they were my innocent victims!

Noah teaching some kids at the car dealership all about insects.

Up way past her bedtime, hanging with Mom!

Beauty!

A little park time on a VERY hot day!  Needless to say we were all really sweaty when we left!

And then off to the splash pad on another day.   Best splash pad we've been too, by far.

On a side note, I have been 'attempting' to potty train Clare.  I say attempting only because I haven't been overly committed to staying home and sticking with it.  Anyway, she was doing great on this day and I thought I would forego the diaper under her swim suit!  She could do it!  Next thing I know there is a brown spot on her bottom and I realized she had pooped in her swimming suit!! Gag.  We went to the bathroom to get cleaned up and put a diaper on.  I will just say this, cleaning soggy poop out of a wet swimming suit with my bare hands doesn't sit high on my list of favorite things about parenting.

You can tell by her face how she felt about the pigtails I tried to put in her hair.  She really didn't like them!  In fact, she immediately said, "No like" and started to pull them out!

Took at trip to Target and we loved these glasses.  If they had been black I just might have got them.  :)

Visited our cousin Brookie for a couple of days.  They even played a little dress up!  Two princesses and their prince.  Noah even twirled and danced with Brooklyn.  This stuff just makes me smile!

Andy was gone for two weeks for a work trip as part of his internship.  He did make a short weekend trip home though to catch the Nationals play the Dodgers in DC.  It was a family affair!

The game lasted pretty late (extra innings) and we didn't get back and in bed until 1am or so.  The guys loved it.  I loved it until about the 9th inning :)  Boys and their baseball!

Taking Andy back to the airport, Clare woke up and realized he was gone.  She then proceeded to cry for what seemed like an hour.  She kept saying, "Daddy. Daddy."

Here is Noah playing "Officer Noah" with some of the things Andy brought back from his trip.

The Making of A Dodger Fan

Ok, so this weekend the Dodgers may not have played their finest - but we wouldn't be true fans if we didn't support the team, even in a slump.

So Andy's BFF Bobbo came to town and we all took a little trip to STL for the Dodgers vs. Cardinals game.  We were definitely the minority among all the Cardinals fans...but we still had a good time!

Saturday's morning Bob and Andy went for a run around Downtown.  Later, during the game..the weather was SO hot that Noah and I sat the whole game under the stadium by the concessions.  Needless to say it's a good thing we did, Andy and Bob walked out DRENCHED in sweat.  It was a warm one!
