This week we had the opportunity to take a little road trip with my parents and my sister Whitney over to Boise to visit my brother Nate and his family. We had such a great time! We got there on Friday night and had a BBQ, then Saturday morning while all the guys were golfing, us girls went shopping! In our spare time we all played the Wii. Even my Mom and Dad played and my sister Whitney mastered the art of Wii bowling. We had a great time, here are a few of the highlights.
PS. Jayni and Aleks have gotten SO big and are so cute. It had been almost a year since Andy and I had seen them and it was great.

Week #15 and 16
Whew! That's the first word that comes to mind after the last couple of weeks. This past week was especially busy. Just to give a short rendition...I quit my job at Target on Saturday the 5th..I decided to give myself about a week to finish up packing and getting things ready for our move. What a job! On that following Friday the 11th Andy took his Professional Engineer exam in Columbia, Missouri. After his 8 hours of testing (while I found things to occupy my time, like 2 trips to Target and several to the mall), Andy and I headed to Saint Louis to pick up Greg and Allice from the air port. They were SO kind to come out on their spring break to help us move! Monday the 14th was Andy's graduation, and also the day that Andy and Greg flew out to Denver to pick up some furniture. All the while, Allice and I worked on packing and cleaning some more. Its amazing how much crap you accumulate after such a short amount of time. Tuesday morning Andy and Greg picked up the Penske truck in Denver and loaded it up with goodies...hit the road and drove until about 5:45am the next morning, when they finally reached good old Fort Leonard Wood. After about an hour of sleep for Greg and Andy, we all got up and proceeded to pile up the Penske with the rest of our stuff. A BIG thanks to Ben Ashton as well, who offered his very appreciated help to us that morning. We started packing the truck about 7am and were scheduled to be checked out by 10am. Lots of work in a little amount of time, but we did it nicely. The last little bit was just throwing odds and ends in random boxes...that will be fun to go through when we get back! Anyway, after checking out at 10am we headed out on our journey to Kentucky. Allice and I in the Volvo, and Andy and Greg in the Penske...luckily the drive to Kentucky wasn't too long and we were able to get there in time to move into our new place. All of this was done by mostly Andy and Greg, with only an hours sleep. Thursday we got up and unpacked a little, and spent part of the day in Louisville enjoying the city. Andy and I are really excited to be closer to a bigger city...with 4 of my favorite things: a temple, Costco, Target and a Cheesecake Factory! Whoop. Then Saturday we flew out to Salt Lake City, where my parents picked us up. We are spending a couple of weeks here in IF and then a couple of weeks in Las Vegas, for the big WEDDING! We are so happy to be able to spend time with all of our family and friends. This was definitely a much needed trip, but I keep thinking about all the unpacking I'll have to do when I get home! So much for the abridged version...on to the blessings...
I know I missed week #15, so here it is, belated.
Week #15
We are SOOOO grateful to Greg and Allice for ALL of their help. This is the 2nd time they have helped us pack up all of our stuff and I am not kidding when I say we could not have done it without their help. They are the greatest. We love you guys!

Week #16
This week we are also grateful for Continental Airlines, for without them we would have had to drive to Idaho and Las Vegas...and to be honest...I am not sure we would have made it!

Officially Obsessed.
I am not sure how many of you are familiar with the voice of actress Zooey Deschanel, but if you have ever seen the movie Elf you would agree with me, she's amazing! I have been waiting for her to come out with an album for the longest time, and its finally here. Zooey, partnering with the one man band M. Ward, doesn't fail to deliver. This duo, called She and Him won't disappoint, check them out HERE.

Here's a video of Zooey and M Ward preforming at LA's Disney Concert Hall for 'Songs of the City".

Our Little Mr. Tough Guy.
Today my little nephew Aleks was admitted to the hospital. Apparently he has been pretty sick the last few days, so my sister in law Cami took him to the Dr. They were afraid that he had Meningitis, but luckily after a spinal tap and some tests he was diagnosed with a severe case of strep throat instead. Nate said that Aleks did a great job and was super tough, I even talked to him on the phone and he was enjoying his Cars movie. Ike will be spending the night in the hospital tonight, just to make sure he is A-ok. Get well soon Ike, We love you!
Week#13 - Big Bags.
Well, once again I am a week behind on my blessings...so I thought I would take full advantage of my Saturday night and blog my week 13! This week I am grateful for my big bags! I would be lost without them (even though the bigger the bag, the more I shove in it). I love large purses, or purses in general and in the spirit of my last day at Target (yes you heard me right, today was my last day!)...I decided to add a new bag to my collection! Welcome to the family!
