Day One and Two

I meant to write day one yesterday, and since I can't write about today yet (since it's only 9am), I figure I might as well share my picture and write about yesterday.

Day One:A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was.

Yesterday was pretty much a typical day.  But I like those.  Noah and I have been organizing the house for our move (one baby step at a time).  By organizing, I mean Noah playing with his cars while I attempt to get things accomplished.  We have a pretty good system.  He took a good nap and Andy even got to come home early (which was a nice treat!).   Around 5pm Noah started falling asleep.  I was balancing the checkbook while sitting at the computer...he was sitting on my lap with his head on my arm.  You can always tell something is up when he falls asleep in random places.  Needless to say, after the RS activity I went to last night, I came home and the little guy had a fever.  Looks like I've passed my 3 week illness onto Andy and Noah.  Poor guys!   I can't complain too much though, because it really was a good day!

Day Two: Tell us about your job
My current job is a Mom and a Wife.  If I had this job, and this job only, for the rest of my life - I would be one happy lady.  I know many of you can relate, BUT - being a mom is the best.  Even on those days when you may think otherwise :)

I may be biased in some ways, but my job (as well as many of yours) is the hardest job out there!  Andy and I got married when I was 25.  I had the opportunity to work and support myself for many years - and being a mom is 10x more involved.  Your time is usually not your own and you have someone who relies on you for everything (at every moment).  Some days all I want is a nap, time to go for a walk, even to go to the store alone.   But the truth is, when I am gone for too long - I miss it.  I miss Noah and being with him.  So even in moments when I feel like I want to pull out my hair, I really wouldn't trade my job for anything - and that's the honest truth.

My greatest joy (aka - my two favorite fellas)

A couple funny videos about being a Mom.  We all need a good laugh now and then!

PS.  Don't mind all my bad grammar! :)
