Need a Summer Read

So I have been itching to start a new book lately. I recently checked out a decent book from the library called 'Little Bee' by Chris Cleave. I really enjoyed the story, but decided to quit reading after it abruptly became very graphic. For some reason British authors, which Cleave is, have a lower censorship than a lot of the other authors I have read (am I the only one who has noticed this?). Anyway...I need a good book to read and thought I would enlist your help. Leave a comment if you have any good recommendations, preferably clean titles only please.

One British author who I have enjoyed due to her very abnormal british writing is Hester Brown. The series I read was The Little Lady Agency. There are three books. It is a fluff read, but really easy. Little Lady Agency, Littly Lady in the Big Apple, and Little Lady and the Prince. Good Luck!

At the beginning of the year, I decided to go back to my old high school reads. I wasn't a very focused reader in high school (even though I was in the honors classes!!) and felt I was missing out on some classics. So far I have read "Little Women" and am currently reading "Ender's Game" and am so glad that I have reread them.

Other books I have read recently:

-My Sister's Keeper (excellent and heartbreaking at the same time)
- The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis

I've heard from a few people that the Hunger Game is a good one. It's on my list when I find some free time one of these days. And Travis loves Orson Scott Card books.

I just saw a list that the BBC compiled of the top 100 books to read. Most of them are classics. Let me know if you want the list!
